It's Hard to Do These Socks Justice

So, with the other socks I've got nearly completed for Kate's b-day (pictures to come), these ones are going to be a hard sale to show how cool they are. Especially with the photos I have of them. But really, they're awesome because my dad bought the yarn for me in support of my sock yarn addiction. I asked him to buy some sock yarn in Monterey and he came back with two gorgeous skeins (another pair of socks to follow with the other skein eventually). Not sure if one would be enough I added a couple other varieties into the sock and toe. Super cute. I love them and I love how the colors pool. But really, I'm just jazzed that my dad bought me yarn and in his words he bought the brightest yarn he could find. Yay! They helped me get up Bald Mountain in Sugarloaf SP.
