Winterization...

Is your winter plan in place? October 15th is around the corner. Time to get warm and fuzzy. I finished another pair of socks that are beautiful. Hopefully I can steal them back off Melissa's feet. They're supposed to be for my mom if they'll fit her.

(1) Making them.

(2) Wearing them.

(3) Here is a scarf from really pretty yarn I got out at Black Mountain Weavers in Pt. Reyes. It's hand-dyed 50-50 silk-wool blend from Bo-Range Yarns in Bolinas.

(4) And here I'm getting ready for winter with fingered gloves. Got the pattern in Philadelphia last November when visiting Oren. Beautiful yarn. I'm loving how it's knitting up.

WHERE ARE YOUR WEAR SOCKS?

Right here. Thanks again to the lady I got the other sock pattern and yarn from. These are supposed to look like birds of paradise flowers. Hmmmm... Not as much. Working on another pair of socks from Blue Moon Fiber Arts. I heart their art. Especially their sock yarn. Finished a scarf with gorgeous hand-dyed silk-wool from Pt. Reyes, but I lost my camera battery charger and am too lazy to buy a new one.

Moved to a new house. Not as much time knitting of late, but football season has started so I am combating my lack of knitting with plenty of time Sunday and Monday nights in front of the tele knitting. We have cable for the first time in >10 years. Crazy.
