It's Time foR Socks!!!

Hallelujah. The dahlia socks are done. Just in time for the dahlia in the front yard to start coming up (still a few months away from actually blooming...) Here they are in fine finished form. And here's a link to the woman who created the pattern and yarn (you rock!).





Then there is also the hat that took way too little time for how long it took me to get around to making it. Last year when we lived in Redding Melissa worked at Lassen View Alpacas with Lynn and Steve. I never met Steve, but Lynn rocks. She spins yarn and we got some from her that turned into this cute cabled hat. It's so soft it's insane. I heart alpacas once again.





Hiding behind Melissa is the monster plant that we inherited from Sarah and Christopher when they headed to Jamaica. It's going off as can be seen here...
